Technical Instructor - Ultrasound

Position Overview

Under the general supervision of the Charge Sonographer, Manager, Director or designate in the Diagnostic Services portfolio, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of Shared Health, the Clinical Instructor is responsible for the supervision of the students of the Red River College Polytech, Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Program. In addition, the Clinical Instructor will liaison with other accredited college related programs. Functions as an independent self-directed professional in the delivery of direct patient care. Maintains a safe environment in accordance with professional and provincial guidelines and ensures compliance with quality assurance program.

Experience

• A minimum of three years' experience as a Sonographer.
• Previous supervisory or teaching experience preferred.
