Job Description
THOR Solutions is actively seeking a Technical Instructor (Marine Welding & Systems) to provide full-time technical and professional support services at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) in Norfolk, VA.
This position is contingent upon contract award, anticipated for September 2026.
Typical Responsibilities: Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
+ Prepare and deliver instructional programs for technical courses in welding, brazing, and other ship fundamentals, ensuring all allotted time is used effectively.
+ Ensure students receive high-quality education through effective in-class instruction, hands-on training, and up-to-date learning materials.
+ Train students and shipboard personnel on safety requirements, standard maintenance procedures, and the use of tools and equipment.
