Support Stantec’s Electrical Engineering junior and senior electrical engineering roles with technical guidance, internal design reviews and act as Electrical Authorising Engineer for external clients.
The **Technical Director** ( **Authorising Engineer (Electrical)** provides independent competent technical authority, governance, and oversight for electrical safety, compliance, operational standards, and safe systems of work across building assets, support the business development function.
**Governance & Compliance:**
+ Provide independent professional advice on electrical safety, legislation, standards, and risk management.
+ Develop, review, and approve electrical safety rules, authorisation processes, and safe systems of work (e.g., HV/LV isolation, arc flash controls).
+ Ensure designs and operations comply with relevant codes, standards, and Stantec’s quality procedures aligned with Stantec’s emphasis on electrical dependability, safety, and efficiency.
