Technical Development Engineer

The responsibilities associated with the position include:

• Identify renewable energy and energy storage investment opportunities by technical scoping, identifying technical risks and making the appropriate technical assessment and recommendation.
• Responsible for the screening, pre-feasibility, feasibility and pre-construction stages of renewable energy and energy storage projects including, but not limited to:

Collection, assessment, validation and synthesis of primary and secondary technical data

Establishment of technical and basis of design criteria including creation of technical control documents and conformance to SHESQ protocols

Design and supervision of site investigation programs

Establishment of terms and conditions of contracts

Bidding and awarding of contracts

Contract negotiation

Supervision of contractors and consultants
