Technical Controller

A Technical Controller ensures the parts of the equipment are correct based on the manufacturers
recommendations, ships classification societies, government regulatory requirements and
company approved standards. To inspect the equipment parts purchased are in the specifications.
And to report any deviations or flaws of the items. Accountable to minimize turnaround time and
minimize delay due to improper specifications on purchase requisition.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the proper naming specifications and conventions in SERTICA
• Regular monitoring of ships Inventory for ship consumables and spare parts
• Assess the technical quality of products that the company has approved for purchase or the products that receive at a warehouse.
• Accountable for informing the management, Superintendent & Fleet Managers on questionable inventory and inventory lost.
