Job Purpose

The Technical Audit Engineer is responsible for independently validating maintenance work orders, refurbishment scopes, material consumption and contractor activities to ensure technical necessity, quality standards and cost effectiveness. The role acts as an internal control function to prevent unnecessary maintenance expenditure and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Work Order Scope Verification: Review maintenance work orders raised by zone supervisors, verify the technical necessity of proposed repairs and replacements, challenge excessive or unjustified scopes of work, and ensure repairs are prioritized over replacements where technically feasible.
