Our client in the Engineering industry is currently looking for a Technical Application Engineer, in Durban.
Responsibilities:
  • Installation and commissioning of on-line monitoring solutions on HV Electrical Substation Equipment (shall require international travel).
  • Technical review and support on tenders and quotations.
  • Provide complete technical aftersales support for the systems business.
  • Provide support on operating procedures and problems solving on systems products and software.
  • Scheduling and coordinating site work with the Technical Service Manager.
  • Responsible for managing spare parts and stock control for their systems business.
  • Provide support to the engineers in the department or other departments within the company.
  • Participate in conferences/trade shows and other company sponsored events.
  • Supports customers to resolve technical issues and troubleshooting with their online monitoring systems. ...
