Purpose of the RoleTo manage a team of on field and Desktop inspectors and drive best practice claims handling performance in terms of optimal claims outcomes, customer service, and the technical and professional development of the team.Duties and ResponsibilitiesFunctional ResponsibilitiesManage the allocation of claims within the on field and desktop inspectors.Provide a technical referral point for team members and manage performance.Keep the Line of Business Senior Manager advised of key complex loss developments and wider complex trends.Execute strategic initiatives within the Inspectors team.Ensure Appraisals 'Best Practices' is maintained within the inspector team.Drive performance through required criteria.Ensure claims are accurately assessed and proactively look for compliments within agreed service levels.Embed use of a balance scorecard/KPIs within the team.Develop and implement initiatives with impact on processes, service and profitability.AccountabilitiesTeam performa...
