Team Leader – Circle Decontamination (Radlett)

37.5 Hours & Permanent – Salary up to £31,280 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the decontamination unit, ensuring efficient workflow and service continuity.
• Supervise staff rotas and shift patterns in alignment with departmental needs and raise discrepancies to senior staff.
• Operate and monitor decontamination equipment including ultrasonic machines, autoclaves, washer disinfectors and endoscopy washers.
• Ensure daily maintenance, validation and equipment testing are completed and appropriately recorded.
• Assist with the induction, training and mentoring of new and existing staff.
• Support the Production Manager in identifying staff training needs and contributing to appraisals and performance management.
