As a Team Leader, your daily goal is to work with your team to achieve the production targets. You start the day with a “day start” meeting in which you and your team discuss safety, quality, logistics, planning, and budget (SQLTC). After that, you get to work, and as the team leader you ensure that your team can meet the intended objectives. In this role, you are a true coach and leader for your people. You are present on the shop floor and create a pleasant and safe working environment for yourself and your multicultural team.

You listen, guide, support, and solve issues so your team can work effectively and stay engaged. During shift changes, you make sure your team hands over the work properly. You conduct selection, performance, and appraisal interviews. You ensure that new colleagues receive a proper onboarding and that all team members can continue to develop themselves.
