Team Leader Flight Controls Systems

Overview We are seeking a full-time Team Leader Flight Controls Systems in either our Chandler, AZ or Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating a flight controls systems engineering team responsible for development of algorithms and system architectures for autopilot and flight director systems. Essential Functions Enables safety design and ensures hardware and software requirements fulfill systems & safety requirements Directly supervise various levels of team members by setting the tone for the team environment and providing individualized coaching, training and mentoring Enables development of models of electromechanical servomechanisms or airframe models using customer supplied aerodynamic data and models Serves in leadership capacity for development of systems requirements for autopilot/flight director systems including system performance, system interfaces, architecture, and algorithms Directs development of autopilot and flight dir...
