About the role

The Team Leader Fire and Biodiversity leads a small field team delivering bushfire mitigation and biodiversity works across Hobart's natural areas. The role focuses on day-to-day coordination of field activities, safe work practices and supporting program delivery.

Key responsibilities:

  • lead and supervise field staff, contractors and volunteers.
  • deliver bushfire mitigation, fuel reduction and biodiversity field programs.
  • support planning and coordination of works and projects.
  • monitor progress of works, timelines and budgets.
  • arrange and manage equipment, materials and resources.
  • maintain records and contribute to reporting and program improvements.
  • This role may require occasional work outside normal hours, including weekends.
