Team Lead, Specialized Services – The Bissell Centre, Edmonton area.
Responsibilities
The Team Lead of Specialized Services assists the manager in implementing and administering the Fetal Alcohol Spectrum of Services (FASS) and Family Support programs, and supervises a team of support staff including FASS System Navigators, FASS Advocates, Family Support Services, and Casual Support Staff.
- Support staff to work with participants to collaboratively set goals, develop care plans, evaluate success, and revise plans accordingly.
- Assist staff with the implementation of participants’ case plans through role‑modeling, teaching, information sharing, brokering, advocacy, and practical assistance.
- Identify opportunities to assess and enhance participants’ readiness to make positive changes and increase self‑reliance.
