About the Role

Roundswell Community Primary Academy are seeking committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our school team. You will play a key role in supporting pupils' learning, wellbeing and development, helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging school environment.

Responsibilities

• Work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff, supporting learning in both classroom and small-group settings.
• Support pupils' welfare and personal care, including those with SEND.
• Implement literacy and numeracy interventions.
• Assist with planning cycles and preparing learning resources.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil independence.
• Assist with supervision during break/lunchtimes and accompany pupils on trips when required.
• Engage with pupils in a positive and nurturing manner.
• Fulfil other duties as required by senior staff.
