Teaching Assistant – Specialist SEND Unit (Tameside)

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for a truly rewarding role? We are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in the Tameside area, working within a specialist SEND unit.

Overview

You will be part of a supportive, inclusive, and welcoming team environment with potential progression to a permanent school contract. Ongoing professional development and training opportunities will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Full-time, long-term position within a specialist SEND unit.
  • Support children with complex needs who are working at an EYFS level.
  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to help pupils thrive.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver engaging, accessible activities.
