Teaching Assistant (Secondary) St Peter's School

St. Peter’s School is seeking a Teaching Assistant (Secondary) to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) during term time. The role involves 22 hours per week, paid at £12,808 per annum pending pay award.

Working Hours

• Mon 8:50am – 1:30pm (4h 40m)
• Tues 9:10am – 1:30pm (4h 20m)
• Weds 9:10am – 1:30pm (4h 20m)
• Thurs 9:10am – 1:30pm (4h 20m)
• Fri 9:10am – 1:30pm (4h 20m)

Key Responsibilities

• Support classroom management and organization, including students with a Statement of SEN and the class as a whole.
• Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment.
• Promote inclusion of all students, ensuring equal access to learning opportunities.
• Safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school.
• Provide pastoral and learning support to students with a Statement of SEN.
