Teaching Assistant

Role Description

This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Teaching Assistant, based in Sandwell. The Teaching Assistant will support classroom activities, assist teachers in delivering lessons, and provide individual help to target students as needed across EYFS and KS1. Key responsibilities include fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, supervising target children during activities, interventions, behaviour management and ensuring the safety and well‑being of all students.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching and learning or equivalent

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Strong behaviour management
• Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and remain flexible in supporting various teaching styles and educational needs
• Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational environment, is preferred
