The School and Role
We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and proactive EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in North Shields. This full-time role will begin in September and continue until July, with working hours of Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Working alongside the class teacher and wider Early Years team, you will support children throughout the provision, helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive. You will play an important role in supporting pupils' learning, encouraging independence, promoting positive behaviour and contributing to their social, emotional and academic development through engaging, play-based learning opportunities.
