Role Purpose
To support teachers in delivering high-quality education and fostering an inclusive learning environment for pupils across primary and secondary schools in Newport. The Teaching Assistant will work with individuals and groups to support learning, access to the curriculum, and promote positive behaviour and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning Support
Assist in delivering engaging and effective learning activities under the direction of teachers.
Support pupils’ learning across a range of subjects appropriate to age (primary) and curriculum areas (secondary).
Adapt resources and teaching approaches to meet pupils’ individual needs.
