Learning Support Assistant

Initially 26 hours per week for 39 weeks per year (includes 5 training days) To start September 2026

Pay Scale TA1 LEAD NJC Point 3-7 (£25615- £27275 FTE Starting Salary) Actual Salary £15528

We are looking for a confident Learning Support Assistant to support our SEND children who need additional support.

This role is temporary initially until 31 August 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils to overcome challenges and barriers to learning
• Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENDCO and the children’s parents
• Attend review meetings and meet targets set within the Educational Health Care PlanSupport pupils both inside and outside the classroom to facilitate positive social interaction with peers.
