Teaching Assistant (Level 3)

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join Bar Hill Primary School. You will work closely with teachers and the teaching assistant team to support children, including one-to-one work, leading group interventions, and providing cover for teaching staff when required. You will also prepare teaching resources and classroom displays.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to the Headteacher and to the school’s management team.

Qualifications and Skills

• GCSE English & Mathematics Grade C (4/5) or above or equivalent, alongside a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or working towards this).
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Demonstrates an understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues.
