Temporary Teaching Assistant (TA2b) – KS1 & SEND Enhanced Provision – Middleforth Church of England Primary School, Penwortham.

Location: Hill Road South, Off Marshall's Brow, Penwortham, Preston, PR1 9YE. Full time equivalent salary, part‑time term‑time only, paid pro‑rata. Closing date: 12pm 26 June 2026.

The Role

The role supports learning during Key Stage 1 mornings, contributes to the PLAY Team for high‑quality lunchtime provision, and works within the SEND enhanced provision space alongside the SENDCo and experienced staff.

Responsibilities

  • Support learning in Key Stage 1 during mornings.
  • Be part of the PLAY Team, supporting high‑quality lunchtime provision.
  • Work within the SEND enhanced provision space, supporting pupils with additional needs alongside the SENDCo and experienced staff.
  • Ensure inclusive, engaging playtime that builds social skills, creativity and wellbeing.
