Job Description
A busy, diverse secondary school in Hackney is seeking a confident and adaptable Teaching Assistant to start immediately. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting students with a range of learning and pastoral needs.
You'll be supporting students across KS3 and KS4, including pupils with SEN, EAL, and additional behavioural needs. The school values consistency, calm support, and staff who are happy to get stuck in.
Your day-to-day will include:
Supporting students in class to stay engaged and on task
Working closely with pupils who need additional structure or encouragement
Assisting teachers with behaviour management and lesson flow
