We are working directly with a welcoming and well-organised primary school in Gateshead that is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis, starting as soon as possible.

This Gateshead school has a strong community feel, clear routines, and a calm learning environment. The role would suit someone local who enjoys working with children and wants to build experience within a supportive school setting.

The Role:


  • Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities


  • Working with small groups and individual pupils


  • Supporting behaviour, focus, and engagement


  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom
