Teaching Assistant – EYFS


Location: South Shields
Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-time, term-time

This EYFS Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone who loves early years education and supporting children through play-based learning.

Key Responsibilities


  • Support learning through play and exploration


  • Assist with phonics and early number skills


  • Encourage positive behaviour and social development


  • Support personal care where required

  • EYFS or nursery experience


  • Warm, patient and energetic


  • Strong understanding of early childhood development
