Our education recruitment agency is currently seeking a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to work full time in a specialist secondary school in Eccles.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and who thrives in a structured yet rewarding environment.
The Role:
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support students aged 11-16 with SEMH and associated additional needs
Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to promote positive behaviour and engagement
Provide 1:1 and small-group support, both in and out of the classroom
Help students develop emotional regulation, confidence and coping strategies
Be a consistent, positive role model throughout the school day
