About the role:

Justteachers is seeking a Teaching Assistant who is looking for a Long term role, in a Secondary school in the Carnforth area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence ASAP. The school are also looking for permanent candidates for the role.

The school offers a balanced approach to education, combining academic rigour with strong enrichment opportunities. It is known for its positive staff culture and its commitment to helping pupils thrive both in and out of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils within KS3 and KS4 classrooms
  • Provide one to one and small group support
  • Assist with behaviour and engagement
  • Support the teacher with lesson delivery

Pre-requisites:

  • UK school experience
  • Experience supporting pupils in class
  • Understanding of safeguarding
  • Ability to support KS3 and KS4 learners
