Teaching Assistant

Rikama education Limited are working with a SEN school located in Bexley who are looking to recruit driven and professional Teaching Assistants.

Ideally you will have experience of working as a SEN Teaching Assistant with students and supporting a range of additional needs. In particular we are looking for applicants that are experienced in working with ASD, Autism, or severe learning difficulties.

Responsibilities

• To provide a safe, supportive and nurturing classroom environment.
• To liaise with the lead teacher in preparing the classroom.
• Support children with special educational needs and diverse learning styles.
• Track and monitor student progression.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children or young adults.
• Knowledge of working with a range of additional needs such as ASD, PMLD.
