Educators Needed – Northern Vacant Positions in Kingfisher Lake First Nation Kingfisher Lake First Nation is looking for professional teachers for the 2025 -2026 academic year. These professionals must be willing to travel north of 50, in the pristine and calming environment of nature and wildlife. The land bears witness of many diverse native cultures and traditions that not many people know and understand. It is a land of many lakes and rivers that sustain wildlife, fish, and the ecosystem. SCHOOL ACTIVITIES / Academics The school holds many gatherings and festivals that honour the land and people. Everyone is welcome to attend and participate. The school population is approximately 150 students from JK to Grade 10. After grade 8 or grade 10, students go out to urban high schools and this maybe their first time out of the community.
