Basic Qualifications

  • Valid BC Teaching Certificate
  • Member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch
  • Possess one or more of the following:

Training Specialization

Primary Education with a Master's Degree in Counselling

Related Teaching Experience

Recent successful experience as an Elementary School Counsellor

Reasonable Expectation

Based on a teacher’s skills, abilities, professional development, and overall classroom teaching experience, the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff.
