Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu (Te Kura) is looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher Aide (Kaiāwhina mō te akoranga) to support an ākonga (student) in their home-based learning in Dannevirke. This part-time role for 7.5 hours per week is an opportunity to play a key role in a professional team, providing tailored learning support that empowers ākonga to reach their goals.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting ākonga with their learning, as outlined in their Individual Education Plan (IEP).
  • Assisting Kaiako (teachers) in delivering lessons and adapting materials to meet individual learning needs.
