Tax Manager

Reed Accountancy is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well‑established and successful firm of Chartered Accountants for a Private Client Tax Manager . The successful candidate will manage a diverse client portfolio including self‑assessment tax returns, partnership returns, capital gains tax returns and trust/estate return work.

This role also involves supporting Directors with research and managing internal tax queries.

Day‑to‑day of the role:

• Prepare and review self‑assessment, partnership, capital gains, and trust/estate returns.
• Manage annual trust accounts and control monthly cashbook completions, including payment of taxes to HMRC and distributions to beneficiaries.
• Handle trustee queries and register new trusts and estates using the TRS service.
• Manage the quarterly MTD - ITSA returns.
• Provide direct tax advice to clients and support directors with technical research.
