Job Title: Tax Junior Manager

Location: Budapest

About the role

The purpose of this role is to ensure that the markets’ tax processes (including VAT, customs & excise duty, environmental taxes and other supplementary returns) are undertaken accurately, efficiently (utilising automation) and on time and the surrounding internal control procedures, legislative requirements are strictly adhered to.

Accountabilities

  • Overseeing the preparation and review of VAT, customs & excise duty, environmental tax and connected supplementary returns in accordance with global standard process and controls, utilising automation tools where applicable;

  • Compiling and ensuring accuracy and timely filing (including sign off and payment process) of VAT, customs & excise duty, environmental tax and other related reporting;
