Job Summary


Responsible for performing welding and grinding functions per job specifications. Selects equipment and plans layout and assembly of welding. Works closely and interacts with supervision. Works with precise limits and standards of accuracy. Able to weld in all positions – horizontal, vertical, flat, and overhead.


Please note this will be used to fill two vacancies for the Shell Scotford job in Fort Saskatchewan. Please note, this is tank repair and maintenance. You will not be solely welding all the time.

  • The schedule is 6 days on, and 1 day off, 

  • Must be available to start July 13

  • Must possess Journeyperson card with any provincial governing body; we will need a copy of this.

  • Must be able to successfully pass a weld test and D&A screen (conditions of employment) prior to employment beginning.
