Job Summary:
AES Curb is seeking a detail-oriented Take-off Specialist to serve as the critical link between mechanical designs and the manufacturing floor. In this role, you will analyze commercial HVAC mechanical plans, identify required roof curbs, adapters, and accessories, and generate accurate material lists and quotes. This back-office estimating role focuses on reviewing online plans and producing repeatable take-off quotes, typically completed within – minutes per plan. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive take-offs from commercial mechanical (M-series) and architectural drawings. Identify the correct roof curbs, adapters, and accessories required for each project. Cross-reference HVAC unit model numbers (Carrier, Trane, etc.) with specific curb/adapter footprints.
