Systems Technologist

Systems Technologist School District #46 is looking for a collaborative and enthusiastic Systems Technologist to join our Technology team. This continuing, full-time (40.0 hours/week) position would start immediately to provide support throughout the entire district to install, repair and maintain the networks, computers, and audio-visual equipment in schools and other district facilities. Our District primarily uses Apple devices and software. The technician also performs the following main duties: Repairs and maintains computer equipment by troubleshooting software, hardware, and network problems and providing assistance to staff. Installs and maintains the server environment used in the school district. Designs, installs, and maintains ethernet and wireless networks. Researches products and makes recommendations for the purchase or disposal of computers and other equipment and software. Transports and loads/unloads equipment as required.
