Systems Programmer III


Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Systems Programmer for a contract position in Columbia, SC. The opportunity will be for six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.



Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Monitor system health: Review logs Monitor alerts Ensure servers and critical services are running smoothly
  • Perform operational support for zVM environment: Work tickets System upgrades Disaster recovery exercises
  • Ensure systems are stable, secure, and ready for workloads



    • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in: Computer Science Information Systems Or related field
  • OR years of job-related work experience
  • OR years of job-related experience + Associate's degree in CS/IT or related field
  • Minimum years of IT experience
  • Must include varied programming experience
