Job Description
- Daily Monitoring: Monitor enterprise backup dashboards daily to ensure all scheduled jobs complete successfully and meet success rate targets.
- Incident Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve backup failures or warnings by analyzing logs, checking network connectivity, and fixing client-agent issues.
- Data Restoration: Execute data recovery requests-ranging from single files to full Virtual Machines or databases-within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Storage Management: Manage disk and tape storage targets, including handling tape rotations, offsite media transfers, and library hardware maintenance.
- Capacity Planning: Proactively monitor storage utilization trends and alert management when capacity thresholds are approached to prevent job failures.
