:

Systems Administrators perform a variety of technical duties by providing coordination, maintenance, upgrades and overall technical support for computer systems. Systems Administrators evaluate and modify systems to assure proper security and operation. They plan, coordinate, and implement system software program release changes for enterprise servers and resolve technology problems and provide for system enhancements and technical support and assistance to users.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Assess server loads and work with tech lead on developing tuning recommendations.
  • Assist in server maintenance and special projects, during extended work hours.
  • Build and provide configuration, setup, and installation tasks for assigned servers.
  • Communicate outage/degradation of server to management.
  • Coordinate requests for service support (SRS) from internal/external service providers.
