System Test Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a System Test Engineer to join our System Test Engineering team within the Rail Infrastructure, Mobile Communications business based in Poole. The Mobile Communications business supplies on‑board GSM‑R equipment and other engineering solutions to rail industry operators and suppliers worldwide. This includes GSM‑R cab radio with GPS and LTE connectivity and GSM‑R data radio. We are developing the next generation of rail communications (Future Railway Mobile Communication System), based on 4G and 5G technology.

Responsibilities

• Driving delivery of system test activities to meet agreed time, cost, quality and performance requirements on complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Creating clear and effective test procedures, cases and scripts aligned to the overall test strategy for system integration testing.
