System Engineer – Virtualization

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools to guarantee high availability and adherence to corporate standards.
• Drive the modern IaC approach across the organization by translating business requirements into scalable, programmatic solutions and maintaining system configurations via industry-standard automation tools.
• Develop and optimize high-quality code for complex systems tasks, leveraging AI-augmented tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude) to accelerate delivery timelines and optimize technical workflows.
• Proactively monitor, identify, and resolve resource bottlenecks, and conduct performance tuning in collaboration with cross-functional technical teams.
• Provide advanced 2nd and 3rd level systems support with rotational on-call duties, interfacing with external vendors and internal business lines for rapid problem resolution.
