System Engineer – Tactical Datalinks

As part of RUAG's IT department, you will have the opportunity to take on tasks across the entire ICT landscape, from development to maintenance, and contribute to the security of Switzerland with your expertise.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, fault diagnosis, and corrective actions on Link16 ground system, MIDS units, and associated ICT equipment.
• Lead root‑cause analysis for hardware, software, radio communication, networking, timing, interoperability, and system performance issues.
• Define corrective actions and coordinate technical solutions with suppliers, OEMs, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams.
• Carry out system engineering activities related to operation, maintenance, upgrades, configuration management, obsolescence management, and lifecycle support.
