Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers (patching, hardening, performance tuning) to ensure secure, stable operations and SLA compliance.
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and user lifecycle tasks; troubleshoot authentication and access issues.
- Operate and maintain virtualization platforms (VMware/HyperV), storage systems and backup/DR solutions; perform restores and DR tests.
- Support on-prem and hybrid network infrastructure (routing, switching, VLANs, firewall rules) and coordinate changes with network teams.
- Implement monitoring, alerting and incident response (server health, logs, capacity planning) and resolve outages with clear RCA documentation.
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell/Bash, maintain runbooks, and collaborate with security and engineering teams on hardening and compliance.
