Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Provide survey set out, pickup, reconciliation and reporting services.
  • Constant liaison and collaboration with technical services personnel and production crews.
  • Monthly survey volumes/calculations for waste excavation, coal mining and rehabilitation quantities.
  • Provision of design compliance plans on a weekly basis or as required.
  • Assist the Registered Mine Surveyor in maintaining the data for the annual Mine Workings Plan submission.

    • This role will be offered on an 8/6 day shift roster with subsided housing or camp accommodation.

    Qualifications:
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Spatial Science, Surveying or Geomatic Engineering.
  • Leica GNSS Equipment and Total Station, Maptek Laser Scanners, and UAV experience will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in Minescape, Deswik and I-Site Studio advantageous.
