Thompson Engineering has a full time opportunity for a Survey Party Chief. The Surveyor Party Chief oversees the survey crew in the daily responsibilities of the land surveying department. This position is responsible for reporting survey data to the Survey Team Manager. Ideal candidates would need to travel to support various project needs.
Duties:
+ Oversees the daily functions of the survey crew
+ Responsible for the set up and completion of the survey crew on job sites under the direct supervision of the Professional Land Surveyor and/or job supervisor
+ Ensures the proper reporting of daily work logs to the Org Manager
+ Reduces survey data to the Org Manager
+ Interprets blueprints/plans/deeds in order to effectively lead the survey crew
