Survey Technologist

We are seeking an individual for the Survey Technologist position. The primary function is to work under the direction of the Civil Engineer Supervisor to conduct surveying.

Responsibilities

• Conducting topographical surveys and establish check stations for future sit layout and machine control references.
• Monitor check stations for any drift and discrepancy throughout the duration of the project.
• Conduct stockpile surveys.
• Establish alignments, grades and elevation for site layouts.
• Implement and coordinate layout changes with crew supervisors.
• Coordinate with Engineering for any discrepancies regarding the design and site discrepancies if any.

Requirements

• Civil Engineering background is an asset.
• Knowledge in topographical surveys using GPS.
