Job Description
STV is seeking a Survey Instrument Operator for our Round rock, TX location.
In this role, you will be using Trimble Robotic Total Station running Trimble Access software on the data collector to set points, boundaries, lines, elevations, etc.
The ideal candidate has 1+ years of experience as an Instrument Man and possess superior knowledge in construction staking, level loops, and GPS site calibration.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete Task Hazard Analysis (THA) logs daily.
Recognize and communicate hazards/danger zones to surveying crew.
Assist survey crew in performing surveys and field stake-out (roads, bridges, buildings, and other properties).
Assist with the interpretation of electronic drawing systems.
Operate and set up surveying instruments (Trimble Robotic Total Station, etc.) for land surveying operations.
Utilize engineer calculator.
