Wainwright has an exciting opportunity for a Surgical Processor position. Wainwright is a large rural hospital, and you will have the opportunity to work as part of our surgical and endoscopy teams. We are excited to be working on expanding our programs in alignment with the Alberta Surgical Initiative and are looking for a dedicated Surgical Processor to join our team. The Surgical Processor performs a variety of tasks associated with the sterilization and reassembly of hospital supplies, equipment, and surgical instruments in accordance with established Alberta Health Services’ standards and practices. Specific duties include decontamination of all surgical instrumentation & flexible/rigid scopes, inspection, testing, assembly, wrapping, sterilizing in steam or low temperature, low- & high-level disinfection following prescribed techniques.
