Job Description

A leading hospital system is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a 6-month locum assignment with an immediate start.

Schedule
  • 3 x 13-hour shifts weekly
  • Days or nights
  • Weekend rotation required
  • Flexible scheduling
Clinical Duties
  • High-acuity CTICU coverage
  • Arterial line placement
  • Central line placement
  • Swan-Ganz catheter placement
  • Chest tube removals
  • Balloon pump removal
  • Code response and open chest management
  • Collaboration with Intensivists and multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications
  • NP or PA with Cardiothoracic Surgery experience
  • Active New York License (Required)
  • ACLS & BLS
  • COVID vaccinated
  • Experience managing critically ill cardiothoracic patients
