Supportability Engineer

Babcock is looking for a Supportability (IPS) Engineer to join the Engineering Change team based in Devonport, Auckland .

About the role

Join a team supporting some of New Zealand's most critical naval capabilities. As an Integrated Product Support (IPS) Practitioner, you'll play a pivotal role ensuring defence assets remain reliable, maintainable, and operational throughout their entire lifecycle. Working alongside engineering specialists, you'll influence equipment design, maintenance strategies, sparing solutions, technical documentation, and reliability improvements that directly support Royal New Zealand Navy operations.

This is an opportunity to build your expertise across the full spectrum of supportability engineering, including reliability analysis, FMEA/FMECA, LORA, NATO codification, and asset sustainment.
